Quality Time Between Parent and Child

With the busy lifestyles of today's world, quality time between parents and children seems to be diminishing. The demanding schedules of work and busyness of children's clubs and activities often take the time of unscheduled play between parents and children. An article from the Pediatrics Journal states that a "hurried lifestyle [for children] is a source of stress and anxiety and may even contribute to depression" (Ginsburg, 2007). Ginsburg goes on to address the benefits of quality time between parents and children when he says, "Parents who have the opportunity to glimpse into their children's world learn to communicate more effectively with their children and are given another setting to offer gentle, nurturing guidance (Ginsburg, 2007).
This adorable YouTube hit will melt your heart. It helps you sit back and realize how important it is to make children feel special by setting aside time to play with them. It's the little things that make the biggest difference in children's lives.
